Job summary

ASEC is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, secure, and sustain enterprise and tactical networks supporting Navy Live, Virtual, and Constructive training systems. You will maintain complex networks enabling distributed simulations, real‑time data exchange, and large‑scale exercises.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in IT or related field and six years of DoD network experience, DoD 8570 IAT II certification, and an active Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Minimum of six (6) years of professional experience designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise and tactical network architectures.
• Support classified and unclassified training networks.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and network management systems.
• Maintain network availability and performance across geographically dispersed locations.
• Support connectivity between live platforms, simulators, command centers, and remote training participants.
• Implement boundary defense solutions and network segmentation.
• Maintain firewall rules and access controls.
• Support cybersecurity audits, vulnerability remediation, and RMF compliance.
• Monitor network traffic for anomalies and security incidents; lead during major fleet and coalition training events.
