Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC seeks a seasoned Senior PC Specialist to sustain IT operations in a military hospital setting. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop hardware and software, manage tickets, and ensure cybersecurity compliance under DoW policies.

Collaboration with site leadership and DoW teams is essential. The role demands strong customer service, detail orientation, and the ability to work independently in a regulated, mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

Active Tier III Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain
5+ years IT support in enterprise, military, or DoW environments
Experience with ITSM platforms and ticketing systems
Knowledge of network account administration and basic troubleshooting
Familiarity with DoW cybersecurity policies and regulatory standards
Experience documenting service requests and supporting end-user needs
Experience in military hospital/DoW healthcare IT environments
Familiarity with PCS/TDY deployment network requirements
Experience with enterprise desktop environments and IT service delivery

Responsibilities

Support daily IT operations under site leadership.
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, OS, software, peripherals.
Diagnose and resolve hardware/software/network issues; escalate when needed.
Provide end-user support via phone, email, and on-site.
Manage and document IT service tickets with resolutions.
Assist with network account creation, access management, and troubleshooting.
Monitor cybersecurity training completion and policy compliance.
Maintain user profiles and ATCTS records.
Coordinate with DoW facilities for PCS/TDY/deployment access.
Perform routine equipment maintenance and updates.
Review error messages and apply approved fixes.
Assist with software testing and system updates.
Maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
Track issues to resolution and support customer satisfaction.
Prepare operational statistics and reports.
Support IT continuity and compliance initiatives.
