Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC seeks an Information Technology Specialist Level 2 to support mission-critical DoD IT systems and secure infrastructure. The role involves installing, configuring, and sustaining enterprise hardware, software, servers, and networks in physical and virtual environments.

Responsibilities include Windows/Linux, VMware/Hyper-V, AD/DNS/DHCP, SQL Server, and Azure services, plus security compliance, backups, VTC, and user support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related discipline.
• Security+ or equivalent to meet DoDM 8140.03 DCWF code 451 System Administrator-Intermediate.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with eligibility for access to classified information.

Responsibilities

• Support IT systems, programs, projects and tasks requiring advanced technical oversight.
• Maintain system availability, performance and security compliance.
• Coordinate with teams to meet requirements and milestones.
• Administer servers, workstations, accounts, and network security.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network anomalies.
• Support virtualization and enterprise services.
• Provide end-user support and account provisioning.
