Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems, LLC in Hawaii seeks a Senior PC Specialist to deliver comprehensive IT support in a secure, large military hospital environment. Responsibilities include deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting PCs, supporting end users, and managing IT service tickets with strict adherence to DoW cybersecurity policies.

The role requires 5+ years of enterprise IT support, DoW experience, and active Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Active Tier III Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain.
• 5+ years of enterprise IT support experience, preferably within military or DoW environments.
• Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting PCs, software, and peripherals.
• Experience using ITSM ticketing systems and documenting resolutions.
• Knowledge of DoW IT policies and cybersecurity requirements.
• Experience with network account administration and access management.
• Experience in military hospital/DoW healthcare environments.
• Familiarity with ATCTS or similar cybersecurity training platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily IT operations under direct supervision of Site/Workflow Manager and leadership.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, OS, software, and peripherals.
• Diagnose hardware/software and network issues; escalate as needed.
• Provide user support via phone, email, or on-site; ensure timely resolutions.
• Maintain and update IT service tickets with actions and outcomes.
• Coordinate with DoW facilities on PCS/TDY deployments and access requirements.
