Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a Senior IT Help Desk Representative to support DoD healthcare operations in a military hospital environment. You will provide advanced technical support, troubleshoot hardware, software, and networks, and maintain secure IT systems to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have Tier III Public Trust, 5+ years of IT support experience, and proficiency with ITSM ticketing systems. Join a team focused on mission success and reliable service delivery.

Formación

• Active Tier III Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain background clearance.
• Minimum of 5 years IT support experience in DoD/military environments.
• Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer hardware, operating systems, software, and peripherals.
• Experience with ITSM platforms and ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of network account administration and basic network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with DoD IT policies and cybersecurity requirements.
• Experience maintaining technical documentation and end-user support.
• Ability to provide technical assistance in a secure, procedure-driven environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support for daily military healthcare IT operations.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, OS, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and support computers, printers, scanners, peripherals, and software.
• Manage user accounts and access; ensure annual training compliance.
• Respond to support requests via phone, email, and on-site.
• Track requests using IT ticketing systems; escalate complex issues.
• Monitor systems; assist with updates and testing.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep equipment ready.
• Maintain technical docs and end-user self-service resources.
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity training and standards.
• Coordinate with DoD facilities on accounts and access (PCS/TDY).
• Prepare operational reports and provide updates to management.
• Attend duties reliably and perform additional tasks as required.
