Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to support the CNIC program in Naples, Italy. The role focuses on RMF-based system accreditation, SSP development, and the implementation of security controls across IS and applications.

The candidate will develop and review security documentation, conduct continuous monitoring, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure compliant security postures. A DoD TS/SCI clearance and travel readiness are required.

Qualifications

Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required.
US Citizenship required.
IAT Level II baseline certification required.
Bachelor's degree with technical IT training or HS diploma with 10 years of experience in lieu of degree.
Minimum 8 years of cybersecurity/IT experience.
RMF and eMASS knowledge and experience.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
Ability to pass and maintain health standards for AFRICOM travel and required vaccinations.
Valid/Active U.S Passport.

Responsibilities

Support RMF process categorization and SSP development for IS accreditation.
Assist in selecting security controls, inherited controls, and CCIs for the IS/SSP.
Help develop MOUs/MOAs and ISCM plan/strategy.
Implement and maintain required security controls.
Develop, review, and approve Security Assessment Plan.
Install and maintain the IS security scanning tool; perform periodic scans.
Assist in developing SAR.
Assist in developing POA&M.
Update Security Authorization Package.
Conduct periodic assessment of IS security controls.
Lead remediation actions based on monitoring results.
Update SSP/SAR/RAR/POA&M with continuous monitoring results.
