Job summary

Imagine One Technology & Management in Lexington Park, MD is seeking a Business Development Specialist to build and maintain relationships with DoD and Federal customers, identify opportunities, and develop a robust revenue pipeline. The role collaborates with capture teams to craft proposals and supports market research and reporting.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of BD experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and familiarity with DoD acquisition.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of business development experience.
• Familiarity with DoD acquisition; prior federal/commercial customers a plus.
• Data mining experience with GovWin, Fed Biz Opps, and similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify opportunities aligned with corporate strategy and business plan objectives.
• Build and drive execution of a robust multi-year opportunity pipeline.
• Perform detailed research to identify new opportunities, markets and customers.
• Provide a bi-weekly new opportunity identification report and review with Senior BD staff.
• Update internal pipeline and provide pipeline metrics to Senior BD staff.
• Develop customer contact plans and document key issues and hot buttons for effective messaging.
• Support RFI and Sources Sought development for proposals.
• Assist capture managers with Capture Management Plan construction and presentations.
• Attend and participate in weekly BD meetings and reports.
• Ensure pipeline status information is accurately reflected in reporting systems.
