Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Technical Account Manager for US Federal, Enterprise Support, to serve as a strategic technical advisor to DoD customers. You will build deep relationships, translate mission objectives into cloud strategies, conduct operational reviews, and lead incident response with cross-team coordination.

The role requires travel 10% or more for on-site engagements and a TS/SCI clearance. Based in Arlington, VA with additional sites in Herndon, VA and Denver, CO.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering or related field.
Current, active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance.
4+ years of technical work experience in cloud/secure environments.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical advisor to a DoD customer portfolio.
Conduct proactive operational reviews and health assessments.
Lead incident management and coordinate cross-team resolution.
Guide architecture decisions using the AWS Well-Architected Framework and security best practices.
Develop and execute strategic cloud adoption roadmaps.
Collaborate with AWS service teams to influence product improvements.
Communicate complex trade-offs to engineering teams and leaders.
