Job summary

SMX seeks a Data Science Consultant to support our Army Client in Hawaii. You will design new solutions using Databricks (SQL, Python, Pyspark) and Palantir Foundry to deliver capabilities that meet business needs.

You will also modify data models, define test cases, build data models and reports from ERP and legacy systems, and coordinate with stakeholders to convert requirements into technical specifications. A Secret clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Experience with Databricks and SQL/Python/Pyspark.

Responsibilities

• Design new solutions using Databricks (SQL, Python, Pyspark) and Palantir Foundry to meet business requirements.
• Design modifications to existing data model solutions as needed.
• Define test cases and verify results to ensure solutions function as designed.
• Build data models and reports from ERP/legacy datasets.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specs.
