Job summary

SMX is seeking a Data Science Consultant to support our Army Client. You will design data solutions using Databricks and Palantir Foundry, model data structures, and verify test results against requirements.

You will coordinate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specs, build data models from ERP datasets, and contribute to cross-functional discussions ensuring mission-aligned outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on development experience.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python and Pyspark.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/EE.
• Experience with DoD and ERP data is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design new solutions using Databricks (SQL, Python, Pyspark) and Palantir Foundry to meet business requirements.
• Design modifications to existing data model solutions as needed.
• Define test cases and verify test results to ensure solutions function as designed.
• Build data models and reports using datasets from ERPs and legacy systems.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and users to determine reporting requirements and convert business requirements into technical specs.
