Job summary

SMX is seeking a Data Science Consultant to support its Army client. The role focuses on delivering capabilities through Databricks and Palantir Foundry, building data models, and translating business requirements into technical specifications.

You will work with ERPs and legacy systems to create actionable reports and collaborate with stakeholders to capture reporting needs. The position requires strong SQL, Python and Pyspark skills, plus experience in data engineering/analytics and a current

Qualifications

2+ years hands on development experience.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

Design new solutions using Databricks (SQL, Python, Pyspark) and Palantir Foundry to deliver capabilities meeting business functional requirements.
Design modifications to existing data model solutions as needed.
Define test cases and verify test results to ensure solutions are functioning as designed.
Build data models and reports using datasets from ERPs and legacy systems.
Coordinate with stakeholders and users to determine reporting requirements and convert business requirements into technical specifications.
