Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team on site at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. You will craft RMF A&A packages, perform continuous monitoring, and conduct system testing to secure advanced combat systems.

The role requires active Top Secret clearance eligibility, IAT II/III, and DoD cybersecurity experience. Funding anticipated December 2026, with competitive compensation and ESOP benefits.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years program specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical systems or five (5) years general security engineering experience.
• Two (2) of the five (5) years of engineering experience on Combat Weapons Systems incl. Aegis/SSDS/Zumwalt or similar Navy systems; IAT Level II/III per DoD 8570.01 or successor.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
• Document a system from a cybersecurity perspective using MS Word, Excel, Visio and related tools.
• Plan, execute and document risk assessments against known vulnerabilities.
• Apply STIGs and DoD/Nsa recommendations to systems.
