Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team on-site at NSWC Dahlgren, Virginia. You will craft RMF A&A packages, perform continuous monitoring, and test systems to secure critical DoD platforms.

Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility is required. Two to five years of security engineering experience, IAT II/III, and a bachelor's in Cybersecurity are preferred. Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $156,000 USD annually.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years program-specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical systems or five (5) years general security engineering experience.
• Two (2) of the five (5) years of engineering experience on Combat Weapons Systems such as Aegis, SSDS, Zumwalt, or other Navy systems.
• Must be IAT Level II or Level III per DoD 8570.01 or successor when ISSO/ISSE responsibilities apply.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
• Document system cybersecurity perspective using MS Word, Excel and Visio.
• Develop system CONOPS and categorization per DoDI 8500.2.
• Apply STIGs and DoD/NSA guidance to secure systems.
• Perform vulnerability testing with ACAS and other IA tools.
• Lead ISSO responsibilities for security matters across systems.
