Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to join our on-site team at NSWC Dahlgren, Virginia. You will craft RMF A&A packages, perform continuous monitoring, and conduct system testing to secure cutting-edge capabilities for naval platforms.

The role requires active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, US citizenship, and 2–5 years of related engineering experience in DoD environments. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting, we’d like to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years program specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical systems or five (5) years general security engineering experience.
• Two (2) of the five (5) years of engineering experience on Combat Weapons Systems such as Aegis, SSDS, Zumwalt, or other Navy afloat systems; IAT Level II or III per DoD 8570.01.
• Understanding of computer security, DoD Cybersecurity policies for land-based and afloat/tactical systems, and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
• Document system using MS Word, Excel, Visio and other tools from a Cybersecurity perspective.
• Develop CONOPS for Mission Assurance per DoDI 8500.2.
• Research and recommend security solutions to achieve certification and accreditation.
• Apply DISA STIGs and DoD recommendations and ensure policy compliance.
• Identify gaps between as-built specs, security requirements and policies and propose remediation.
