Job summary

Insight Global's DoD client seeks a Government Compliance Specialist to join the Mission Assurance team in Colorado Springs, CO. You will ensure contracts are compliant and manufacturing processes meet requirements.

You will coordinate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Supply Chain, develop manufacturing docs, and support continuous improvement while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, project management, or related field.
• Background in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with, reading, and executing government contracts.
• 2–5+ years of relative experience.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems.
• ProShop preferred.
• Knowledge of QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Contract & Project Management: Review Navy/DoD contracts, specifications, drawings, and technical requirements to identify, communicate, and flow down project requirements.
• Plan and organize projects by creating and maintaining ERP data, including BOMs, work orders, and project records.
• Coordinate requirements across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Supply Chain to support successful project execution.
• Compliance & Documentation: Prepare and submit certification packages and required project documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
• Review engineering, testing, material, and manufacturing documentation to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation using customer-provided specifications and technical data.
• Process Improvement & Operational Support: Support continuous improvement through the development of procedures, work instructions, and training materials.
• Leverage ERP and project management tools to improve planning accuracy, workflow efficiency, and operational performance.
• Follow company values, quality standards, and safety procedures while supporting additional business needs as required.
