Job summary

Exp Federal is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team, supporting Project Managers on construction and mission support projects globally. The role emphasizes coordination of production, safety, quality control, and international collaboration.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management with 7+ years of on-site construction experience; U.S. DoD experience is a plus. Local and international deployments may be required.

Qualifications

• Engineering, architecture or equivalent Construction Management Degree required.
• 7+ years of experience on construction or construction management projects; on-site experience preferred.
• International experience and U.S. DoD construction experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers coordinating production, quality control, health and safety and international staff.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and generate project reports.
• Prepare bids and proposals and provide subject matter material.
• Review project schedules and support updating them.
• Input data into RMS and review invoices for billing.
• Write and review Safety Plans, QC Plans and Work Plans.
• Review design submittals and provide comments on Design‑Build projects.
• Perform site visits and communicate with U.S. DoD personnel and multicultural staff.
