Job summary

MORSE Corp in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Contract Specialist to join our Business Operations team. You will manage the full lifecycle of contracts, subcontracts, and NDAs, coordinating with program managers and engineers to ensure compliant, timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in defense contracts or procurement, a bachelor’s degree, knowledge of FAR/DFARS, and experience with ERP systems such as JAMIS, Deltek, or Unanet. U.S.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience in defense contracts management and/or procurement.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Experience reviewing NDAs, subcontracts, and contract modifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage cradle-to-grave administration of diverse contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M), subcontracts, modifications, and purchase order awards.
• Review, redline, and negotiate non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), teaming agreements, software licenses, and standard contract terms.
• Analyze RFPs and contract documents for FAR/DFARS clauses, flow-downs, and special provisions, identifying risks and ensuring full regulatory compliance.
• Partner with technical leads to monitor contract milestones, CDRLs, and delivery schedules.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for government contracting officers, prime contractors, and internal project teams.
• Coordinate with finance for invoice submittals, funding/payment tracking, and system data entry within our ERP system.
• Support GFP/GFE tracking/reporting and drive timely contract closeout activities.
