Job summary

RQ Construction is seeking a seasoned Construction Quality Control Manager to join our Field Operations in Jacksonville, FL. You will own the quality program from planning through completion, ensuring rigorous inspection coordination, documentation, and compliance with contract specs for complex military projects.

Local candidates are preferred, with relocation/travel assistance possible. The role is full-time and on-site at Naval Station Mayport, offering a competitive salary and benefits

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial construction experience in roles such as Superintendent, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Quality Control Manager.
• At least 2 years of experience serving as a Construction Quality Control Manager.
• Current USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors certification.
• Experience with RMS/QCS preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with RMS/QCS and Viewpoint/Vista is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the project's quality control program from planning through completion.
• Coordinate inspections and manage quality documentation.
• Partner with the project team to identify and resolve issues before they impact the project.
• Ensure construction activities comply with contract requirements, standards, specifications, and customer expectations.
