Job summary

RQ Construction LLC is seeking a Construction Quality Control Manager to join our Field Operations team on an active military base project in Barksdale, LA. The role is on-site with a focus on planning, coordinating, and implementing a project-specific QC program in line with contract requirements.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in commercial construction in QC/related roles, a USACE CQM certification, and relevant licenses.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or higher in Industrial/Construction/Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Ten+ years combined construction industry experience in roles such as Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, or Project Engineer; two years in QC Manager role.
• Current USACE CQM for Contractors Certificate is required; RMS/QCS training preferred.
• LEED AP/GA or related sustainability credentials preferred.
• Certifications such as EM 385-1-1, CRP, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour are required or training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement a project-specific quality control program aligned with contract requirements.
• Execute the QC program and ensure performance meets contract standards and safety requirements.
• Complete administrative documentation on time and maintain thorough records.
• Cultivate customer satisfaction with the client and align efforts with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.
