Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Construction Control Representative to support projects at Fort Hood, TX.

The role is on-site and focused on quality assurance, contract compliance, and successful project delivery from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in large construction programs, familiarity with federal DoD/USACE work, and the ability to review plans, submittals, and schedules with strong communication and documentation

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting large, complex construction projects.
• Experience with federal construction projects (DoD/USACE) preferred.
• Experience inspecting and monitoring construction quality and contract compliance.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, shop drawings, and schedules.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect construction activities for compliance with contract plans and quality standards.
• Perform daily site inspections and document project activities, safety observations, and progress.
• Monitor schedules and inform the team of delays or performance concerns.
• Review contractor submittals (shop drawings, quality plans, safety/env plans).
• Prepare correspondence on contractor performance and contract compliance.
• Assist with project closeout activities, punch-list inspections, turnover documentation.
• Maintain project records, logs, reports, and inspection documentation.
