Job summary

Vision IT is seeking a Conference Services – Field Technician to provide onsite AV and conference room support at Los Angeles Air Force Base in a secure DoD environment. This temporary, full-time backfill role lasts approximately 10+ months and requires active clearance.

You will troubleshoot AV systems, support VTC platforms, and ensure meeting success while adhering to cybersecurity policies. The position demands strong customer service and independent work in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance required before start.
• CompTIA Security+ certification current and DoD 8570/8140 compliant.
• Experience supporting conference room technologies or IT field services.
• Proficient with Windows environments, video conferencing, AV hardware, and network connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for conference rooms, executive meetings, and VTC sessions.
• Configure, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain AV equipment and collaboration technologies.
• Support Microsoft Teams, Zoom for Government, Cisco Webex, and other conferencing platforms.
• Perform setup and teardown of conference room equipment, including displays, microphones, cameras, speakers, and control systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
• Coordinate with customers and leadership to ensure successful meeting execution.
• Maintain operational readiness of conference room technologies and associated equipment.
• Document incidents, service requests, and technical procedures within ticketing systems.
• Support desktop and peripheral troubleshooting as needed.
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity and information assurance policies.
• Provide white-glove customer support for senior leadership and mission partners.
