Job summary

CompTech Computer Technologies is seeking an experienced Video Telecommunications Specialist – Level II to support the Defense Health Agency at Joint Base San Antonio–Lackland. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain AV/VTC systems and conference rooms to ensure reliable communications for meetings and events.

The ideal candidate has four years of VTC/AV experience, strong customer service and problem-solving skills, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in video telecommunications or AV/VTC support.
• Hands-on experience supporting enterprise VTC and conference room systems.
• Strong customer-service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to diagnose hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide intermediate-level technical support for VTC, AV, and conference room systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot VTC and conference room equipment, diagnose problems, and perform repairs or corrective actions.
• Initiate and manage trouble tickets when issues require escalation or additional support.
• Perform video capture and transfer captured video to designated media streaming servers.
• Support setup, operation, testing, and monitoring of VTC and AV equipment for meetings and events.
• Verify conference room systems are operational and configured prior to sessions.
• Troubleshoot audio, video, display, connectivity, control-system, and peripheral issues.
• Schedule AV/VTC sessions and coordinate reservations.
• Coordinate with users and technical teams to ensure session success.
• Provide end-user training on AV/VTC equipment.
