MODTECH SOLUTIONS LLC in CONUS-based field operations seeks an AV Field Technician to install, integrate, test, and troubleshoot AV and VTC systems across field projects, including DoD facilities. Qualifications

• Experience installing commercial or Government AV and VTC systems.
• Working knowledge of AV equipment, structured cabling, and racks.
• Ability to troubleshoot field installation issues on-site.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Ability to work in a field installation team with safety focus.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Install AV and VTC systems per designs and specs.
• Mount displays, projectors, speakers, mics, cameras, and rack systems.
• Terminate cabling and build out telecom rooms and racks.
• Route, test, label, and document cabling per standards.
• Perform copper and fiber testing and certification.
• Assist testing, commissioning, and final acceptance.
• Troubleshoot system issues and ensure customer relations.
• Maintain project documentation and as-built records.
