Job summary

ABB is seeking a Documentation Specialist to maintain project documents, ensure compliance with procedures, and support timely project delivery. This role reports to Senior Engineering Manager within ABB's Distribution Solutions Division and is onsite in Mebane, NC.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 0–2+ years of experience, with preferred exposure to GPLM software, Windchill, and SAP.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 0 - 2+ years of experience.
• Experience with GPLM software preferred.
• Windchill experience preferred.
• SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project documents, records, and version control within the document management system.
• Ensure documentation complies with company procedures, standards, and confidentiality requirements.
• Track, update, and distribute document registers, reports, and project documentation status.
• Coordinate document reviews, approvals, filing, and distribution activities.
• Monitor documentation progress and support on-time project delivery.
• Provide guidance on document control processes and best practices.
• Identify and recommend improvements to document management processes and tools.
