Job summary

All-Plastics, LLC is seeking a Document Technician to manage the controlled document system, log ECNs, and support QA and internal audits. The role requires high attention to detail and proficiency with MS Office and IQMS.

The candidate should have a HS diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of related experience, plus strong communication and organizational skills. Responsibilities include data entry, inspection, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts while complying with safety

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent with 2+ related work experience.
• Proficient in MS Office; IQMS data entry.
• Ability to accurately use QA tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to multi-task.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Attention to spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the controlled document system (procedures, work instructions, forms, prints, specifications, etc.).
• Support Engineering by entering new part numbers into IQMS.
• Maintain ECN (Engineering Change Notice) Log and lead change meetings.
• Participate as a member of the Internal Audit Team.
• Complete receiving inspection to ensure materials meet specifications.
• Evaluate data to quantify non-conforming product/processes.
• Communicate issues to Production Lead and QA Manager.
• Initiate corrective/preventive actions and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain quality system documentation and initiate changes as opportunities arise.
• Supervise rework as required.
• Follow ISO procedures and ensure timely, accurate reports.
• Work overtime as needed and maintain a safe work environment.
