Job summary

IDEX Corporation, based in Northbrook, IL, is seeking a Document Control Specialist at its Vermont facility. You will manage technical order entry, document control related to orders and customer specifications, and data updates in the Visual Data Base System (VDBS).

You will lead master data, part routings and drawing control, ensuring compliance and timely reviews with cross-functional teams across the organization.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Math, Science or Computers or 3–5 years relevant work experience.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) and digital collaboration tools.
• Experience with relational databases and contract/customer documentation reviews.

Responsibilities

• Leads customer-critical daily part revisions throughout the drawing and database system.
• Independently reviews customer orders for department and business needs.
• Creates comprehensive “part masters” in the ERP Visual Data Base System (VDBS).
• Leads in the creation, revision and modification of part routings.
• Maintains control of drawings within the document control system and compliance protocols.
• Assists in contract reviews for parts as needed.
• Supports updating/upgrading the Visual Data Base System.
