Job summary

IDEX is seeking a Product Data Management Specialist to own the governance of product data across ERP and engineering systems. You will ensure item masters, BOMs, routings, and documentation remain accurate while supporting new product introductions and engineering changes.

Reporting to the Engineering team, you will collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to maintain data integrity, support manufacturing readiness, and deliver reliable product records throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with ERP, PDM, PLM, CAD, or other engineering data management systems preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain item masters, BOMs, routings, inspection plans, and related records in the ERP system (Oracle JD Edwards).
Administer engineering documents within CAD, PDM, and PLM file servers; maintain file structures and archives.
Distribute engineering documentation to Purchasing, Operations, and Sales; support migration and standardization of records.
Assist with reports, data collection, and reporting from ERP and engineering document systems; support ERP/PLM/PDM enhancements.
