Job summary

A. Duie Pyle, Inc. in West Chester, PA is seeking a part-time Outbound Dockworker to safely load and unload freight, verify documentation, and support efficient trailer movements. Experience with forklifts is preferred.

Candidates should have a high school diploma (preferred) and basic reading/writing English; ability to follow safety rules; willingness to work varied shifts including weekends; the role emphasizes customer service and accuracy in documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Previous forklift experience, preferred.
• Prior warehousing, freight, and/or logistics experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate equipment and follow safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading freight on trailers using appropriate equipment – forklift or electric pallet jack.
• Picking, staging, and securing freight inside trailers to insure safe transport.
• Utilizing document management system to track and monitor freight shipment locations throughout the terminal.
• Communicating with terminal personnel and drivers.
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including but not limited to day and night shifts, weekends and or holiday work.
• Operating with a customer service first mentality.

Job description

A. Duie Pyle is seeking a Part-time Outbound Dockworker to join our team in West Chester, PA. This role is responsible for safely transporting freight on and off trailers, and verifying related documentation via the electronic and manual systems. Prior forklift experience is preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
