Job summary

A. Duie Pyle, Inc. in West Chester, PA seeks a full-time Inbound Dockworker to safely load and unload freight from trailers and verify related documentation using electronic and manual systems. Prior forklift experience is preferred.

This role offers competitive wages starting at $23.55 plus a $0.70 shift differential, with the rate increasing to $29.05 after 12 months, weekly pay, benefits and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• Prior warehousing, freight, and/or logistics experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight on trailers using forklift or electric pallet jack.
• Pick, stage, and secure freight inside trailers for safe transport.
• Use document management system to track freight locations throughout the terminal.
• Communicate with terminal personnel and drivers.
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including day, night, weekends and holidays.

A. Duie Pyle is seeking a full-time Inbound Dockworker to join our team in West Chester, PA. This role is responsible for safely transporting freight on and off trailers, and verifying related documentation via the electronic and manual systems. Prior forklift experience is preferred.

• Prior experience in warehousing, freight, and/or logistics preferred
• Ability to safely operate equipment and follow all company and government safety rules and regulations

Dockworker responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Loading and unloading freight on trailers using appropriate equipment - forklift or electric pallet jack
• Picking, staging, and securing freight inside trailers to insure safe transport
• Utilizing document management system to track and monitor freight shipment locations throughout the terminal
• Communicating with terminal personnel and drivers
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including but not limited to day and night shifts, weekends and or holiday work
• Operating with a customer service first mentality
