Job summary

A. Duie Pyle in Etna, PA is seeking a Part-time Outbound Dockworker to safely move freight on and off trailers and verify documentation. Forklift experience is preferred and the role runs Monday through Friday with a 4:00 PM start.

Earn $21.75 per hour with a raise to $22.75 after 12 months. Weekly pay via direct deposit, with 401(k) matching and annual profit sharing, plus a flexible schedule across shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience, preferred
• Prior warehousing, freight, and/or logistics preferred
• Ability to read, write and speak English; communicate effectively
• Ability to operate safely and follow safety rules and regulations

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight on trailers using forklift or electric pallet jack
• Pick, stage, and secure freight inside trailers
• Use document management system to track freight locations
• Communicate with terminal personnel and drivers
• Maintain a flexible schedule including day/night shifts, weekends, or holidays
• Operate with a customer service first mentality

A. Duie Pyle is seeking a Part-time Outbound Dockworker to join our team in Etna, PA. This role is responsible for safely transporting freight on and off trailers, and verifying related documentation via the electronic and manual systems. Prior forklift experience is preferred.

Earn $21.75 per hour. Rate will increase to $22.75 hourly rate after 12 months of employment

4:00 PM; Monday-Friday

Weekly pay every Friday via direct deposit

401(k) with Company Match; Annual Profit Sharing (100% employer paid)

Dockworker qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Previous experience operating a forklift or other material handling equipment, preferred
• Prior experience in warehousing, freight, and/or logistics preferred
• Ability to safely operate equipment and follow all company and government safety rules and regulations
• Ability to read, write and speak English; communicate effectively

Dockworker responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Loading and unloading freight on trailers using appropriate equipment – forklift or electric pallet jack
• Picking, staging, and securing freight inside trailers to insure safe transport
• Utilizing document management system to track and monitor freight shipment locations throughout the terminal
• Communicating with terminal personnel and drivers
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including but not limited to day and night shifts, weekends and or holiday work
• Operating with a customer service first mentality
