Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, dock, yard, or transport setting.
• Coordinate dock or yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Knowledge of trailer docking, release procedures, and trailer anatomy.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Follow safety standards and escalation protocols.
• Strong communication for daily customer-facing and cross-functional interactions.
• Comfort with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace apps.

Responsibilities

• Champion operation safety and equipment readiness.
• Coordinate loading/unloading dock activities and trailer movements.
• Manage docking, release, and yard flow per safety standards.
• Monitor dock conditions and escalate unsafe conditions.
• Collaborate daily with site operations, transportation, and customer teams.
• Maintain professional communication with stakeholders.
• Ensure dock activities align with process guidelines and 7S standards.
• Support dock and yard organization per 7S.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify risks or delays.
• Use Office tools to track activity and document issues.
• Provide coverage to site leadership and lead peers as needed.
