Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 17+ years of age.
• Experience in transportation industry preferred.
• Stable employment history preferred.
• Prior operation of a forklift or forklift certification preferred.
• Must lift/push/pull a load of 70 lbs or more.
• Must be able to work all shifts, including overtime and weekends.
• Must comply with all safety rules and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, or by hand.
• Strap, brace and pad freight to prevent damage or shifting.
• Record the condition of freight on arrival at the service center.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspection of dock equipment.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Employees may be asked to perform other duties as needed.
