Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines in Everett, WA is seeking a dock worker to safely load and unload freight using a forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, or by hand. You will strap, brace and pad freight to prevent damage and will accurately record the condition of freight as it arrives at the service center.

You will perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections of dock equipment, maintain regular attendance, and work within a high-volume environment with multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Must be 17+ years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent background.
• Experience in transportation industry preferred.
• Stable employment history preferred.
• Prior forklift operation or certification preferred.
• Must be able to push/pull 70 lbs. minimum.
• Physical activities include standing, walking, lifting, twisting, turning.
• Able to work all shifts, overtime and weekends.
• Must lift ~70 lbs. or more as required.
• Must comply with company policies and safety rules.
• Must interact well with others and work independently or in a team.
• Able to work under tight time constraints in a high volume environment.
