Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with safe lifting and transporting procedures.
Familiarity with freight paperwork and yard management systems.
Ability to meet customer pickup/delivery schedules.
Ability to operate handheld devices used in freight movement.

Responsibilities

Load/unload freight on trailers using forklift or manual methods per DOT guidelines.
Read and interpret shipping labels and freight documents.
Secure freight inside trailers with straps, airbags, and related equipment.
Monitor freight locations within the service center using the yard management system.
Ensure quality loading of trailers and safe handling of cargo.
