Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• Must be 17+ years old
• Experience in transportation preferred
• Stable employment history preferred
• Forklift operation experience or certification preferred
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs minimum
• Must be able to work all shifts including overtime and weekends
• Ability to read/write safety rules and procedures

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using forklift or manual handling
• Strap, brace and pad freight to prevent damage
• Record condition of freight on arrival
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspection of dock equipment
• Maintain regular attendance and dependable performance
• Perform other duties as assigned as needed
