Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a dock/warehouse associate to transport freight across dock areas and assist with loading to trailers. The role requires basic math, good communication, and the ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in warehousing or freight handling preferred.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy freight and operate equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Move freight using forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck.
• Verify freight documentation for type, weight, and hazards.
• Secure freight inside trailers with pallets, straps, or rope.
• Recoup/repair damaged freight when necessary.
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Assist customers with freight and freight documentation.
• Perform hostling duties if required.
• Comply with laws and company policies; perform other duties as required.
