Job summary

Outsource Consultants is seeking a Violations Project Coordinator in New York to act as the administrative contact for resolving Department of Buildings violations. You will assist the Project Manager, research violations, and coordinate with NYC agencies to ensure compliance and timely resolutions.

The role requires strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Associates Degree preferred but not required.
Basic understanding of reviewing plans preferred but not required.
2-3 years of Dept. of Buildings expediting experience preferred but not required.
Understanding of DOB regulations and procedures.
Knowledge of NYC Construction Codes.

Responsibilities

Point of contact, assisting Project Manager for assigned clients and projects related to Violations.
Research violations through municipal agency archives (DOB, FDNY, ECB, etc.).
Resolve violation issues with the ECB and other agencies.
Obtain waivers, reductions of penalties, and violation dismissals.
Complete City Agency documents (Certificate of Correction, etc.).
Coordinate payment of filing fees.
Attend project meetings and ECB hearings.
Communicate with clients on project status.
Update internal software systems.
