Job summary

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead complex projects across the DMV region from Bethesda, MD. You will oversee field execution, safety, scheduling, and coordination with the Project Manager to meet contract requirements.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction supervision, strong communication, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera, and BIM. Travel within the DMV region is required, with compensation up to $175k for senior roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of superintendent experience on complex projects.
• Experience leading field operations for commercial/public/education projects.
• Proven safety, quality, schedule, and profitability performance.
• OSHA 30-hour certification and first aid/CPR certifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera, and BIM.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, contracts, and schedules.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel throughout the DMV Region.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily on-site construction operations from mobilization through closeout.
• Enforce safety policies and requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors, field personnel, materials, inspections, and site logistics.
• Partner with Project Manager to set goals, staffing, and execution strategies.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with the project team.
• Monitor progress, manpower, materials, and subcontractor performance.
• Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and contract documents for constructability.
• Mentor Assistant Superintendents and other team members.
• Utilize construction tech and PM software to manage field operations.
