Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking a DME Service Coordinator to manage durable medical equipment care delivery at the Fairview Southdale site in Edina, MN. The role includes coordinating care protocols, inventory, and patient education within a collaborative care team.

The position is full-time (1.0 FTE) with in-person training required at the St Paul, MN location for 2–4 weeks. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 8a-4:30p, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Healthcare or equivalent required.
• 1 year working in a clinic setting.
• BLS certification endorsed by American Heart Association or American Red Cross within two months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates care protocols and DME set‑ups for Home Medical Equipment patients.
• Develops, implements, and manages inventory control process in collaboration with vendors and FV support services to ensure care plans are executed appropriately.
• Maintains and tracks inventory.
• Ensures inventory costs are in line with departmental budget.
• Ensures patient care needs are served in a timely manner.
• Effectively set-up equipment and deliver patient education.
