Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for patients, caregivers and providers, assisting with orders, inquiries and billing in a fast-paced DME environment.

Responsibilities include verifying insurance, processing orders, coordinating deliveries, resolving issues, and maintaining patient records while adhering to company policies and procedures; on-site in Buffalo Grove, IL.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a Clerical or Customer Service environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) etc.
• Proficient general office skills (typing, computer, fax, filing, multiple phone line).
• Neat personal appearance with pleasing manner and interpersonal skills. Strong communication skills with capacity to make independent decisions; Medicare/Medicaid and insurance billing, bookkeeping or medical office experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Answer the telephone with professional greeting and direct calls appropriately.
• Greet visitors and direct them to the correct personnel.
• Process orders and change requests in the computer system accurately and timely.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain prior authorizations when needed.
• Inform customers of financial responsibilities and handle inquiries.
• Input orders, prescriptions and paperwork for physicians.
• Coordinate delivery/pickup times with patients or caregivers.
• Resolve complaints courteously and document follow-up actions.
• Audit deliveries and paperwork for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain patient files and documentation current at all times.
