Job summary

Integrated Home Care Services, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller/Coder to review patient balances, assign ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS codes to outpatient records, and resubmit claims with denials corrected.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in home care billing and strong communication skills. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, dental, life insurance, a 401K, and paid training.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of healthcare billing and coding support experience within Home Care Services preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use various computer programs and applications, IE EMR/EHR.
• Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively.
• Medical Biller/Coder certification highly desired.

Responsibilities

What Will You Be Doing

The incumbent is responsible for reviewing patient account open balances, assign/review ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS code to outpatient medical records and resubmit the claim for incorrect denials.

What Will You Come With

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-3 years of healthcare billing and coding support experience within Home Care Services preferred
