Job summary

Integrated Home Care Services (IHCS) is seeking a healthcare billing and coding support professional to join our home care team in Florida. The role focuses on reviewing patient account balances, coding outpatient records with ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS, and resubmitting claims to correct denials.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, 2–3 years of billing/coding within home care, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Healthcare billing and coding support experience in Home Care Services preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills required.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR software and related computer programs.
• Ability to multitask and work independently with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review patient account open balances and assign/review ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS codes to outpatient medical records; resubmit claims for incorrect denials.
