Job summary

Integrated Home Care Services (IHCS) is seeking a skilled Medical Billing & Coding Specialist to support our home care operations in Florida. The incumbent reviews patient account balances, assigns ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes to outpatient records, and resubmits claims after denials.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, 2–3 years of healthcare billing and coding experience in home care, strong verbal and written communication, and proficiency with EMR/EHR systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of healthcare billing and coding support experience within Home Care Services preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use various computer programs and applications, e.g. EMR/EHR.
• Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
• Ability to multitask, set priorities and manage time effectively.
• Medical Biller/Coder certification highly desired.
