Advance Auto Parts in Waynesville, NC is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY service and parts identification. You will handle in-store and phone sales, operate POS, manage basic inventory, and perform battery/Wiper installations. Strong knowledge of automotive systems, parts catalogs, and customer service are essential. ASE preferred but not required.

You’ll work flexible days, including weekends, and contribute to store appearance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems.
• Excellent communication and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist DIY customers in person and over the phone.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance; key holder duties.
• Assist in inventory processes and store cleanliness.
• Operate inventory systems and POS.
• Provide expert parts knowledge and sourcing.
