Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Smithfield, NC is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY sales with expert knowledge of store systems, parts, and automotive diagnostics. The role is full time and involves assisting customers in person and over the phone, locating parts, and providing battery and wiper services.

You'll maintain inventory accuracy, handle truck put-aways, cycle counts, and keep the store clean while delivering friendly, safety-conscious service.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability and fulfillment experience.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• English speaking/writing; Spanish a plus.
• ASE Certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (opening/closing duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away and cycle counts.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize stock.
