Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Locust, NC is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to join our team. This full-time role blends parts knowledge, customer service, and sales to support advanced DIY projects and in-store operations.

You will help customers, locate parts, perform basic DIY services like battery tests and wiper installs, and handle inventory, POS operations, and safety practices. Prior automotive parts experience and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
