Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. seeks a Retail Parts Pro to assist DIY customers in-store and over the phone. This is a full-time role requiring strong automotive parts knowledge, exceptional customer service, and proficiency with store systems to locate and source parts efficiently.

Responsibilities include performing installed services, maintaining store appearance, and supporting inventory processes. ASE P2 certification or readiness is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts sales experience.
• ASE P2 certification or ready equivalent.
• Knowledge of store inventory systems and parts lookup.
• Ability to read safety rules and parts catalogs.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (opening/closing, task assignment, safety).
• Assist in store inventory processes including cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
