Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver expert DIY assistance in-store and over the phone. You will use store systems to identify parts, perform basic automotive services, and help customers select the right parts for their vehicles.

The role requires 3-5 years of automotive parts experience, strong communication, and inventory handling. ASE P2 certification or readiness is a plus; a valid driver’s license is required. You’ll work various days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience
• Proven sales ability with past fulfillment of customer transactions
• Must have a valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
