Job summary

The Salvation Army in Jackson, MS is seeking a Full-Time Social Services Programs Manager to oversee division-wide social service programs and ensure compliance with policies.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Social Services and at least five years of progressive program administration experience, plus a valid driver’s license. This is a salaried position with a standard schedule and occasional field work.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Services from an accredited college or university.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience developing and administering social service programs and securing government funding.
• Valid Driver’s License and TSA Driver Qualification Program eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitors all social service programs in the division and ensures compliance with minutes and policies.
• Reviews applications, contracts and grants for compliance and assists in budgets and proposals.
• Develops and monitors new social service programs and funding opportunities with local and government entities.
• Travels onsite to assist with CSRC inspections and program reviews.
• Identifies program strengths and improvement strategies to enhance offerings.
• Supports HR in determining the best action for Division.
