Job summary

The Salvation Army NSC Divisional HQ in Charlotte, NC seeks a Program Development professional responsible for identifying public funding sources, coordinating grant applications, renewals, and budgets for division-wide social services.

The role will establish and maintain contacts with state and local agencies, attend Salvation Army functions, and work with Divisional staff to develop new programs while ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Services with five years’ admin experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology with five years’ experience.
• Equivalent combination of training and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Relates to and corresponds with the Social Services Secretary/Grants Office regarding program contracts and applications.
• Identifies public funding sources for programming within the Division.
• Establishes and maintains contacts with state and local agencies involved in funding and services.
• Attends and represents The Salvation Army at various Salvation Army functions and meetings.
• Reviews and consults on grant renewals, budgets, and compliance with funding agreements.

Education

Master’s degree in Social Services

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology
